I wanted to take a moment to wish you all wonderful people Happy New Year! Once again, tomorrow we will open a new book with blank pages. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Years Day! Here wishing you a happy, prosperous, fun-filled, joyful and fortunate year ahead!

No, we don’t have snow, but Grouse Mountain in Vancouver B.C. does. This year its a true Winter Wonderland! So we did have a white Christmas, and hoping that New Year will be as wonderful and fun!

Kids enjoyed skating with Santa, and making snow angels. My husband and I got on ice skates ourselves.

We love winter and snow, especially when you don’t have to drive. That’s right, we didn’t drive up there. Grouse Mountain is located in North Vancouver B.C. You park and take a Sky Ride up the mountain! Truly, its a breathtaking experience. If you’re ever visiting Vancouver, its a must visit destination!

And of course, lots of baking is going on in our house during holidays. These are just few of my contributions for the holiday parties.

Thank you Olena! I’m still hoping for good snowy weather. And the cookies…. Oh, the cookies are only for special occasions, ’cause same problem here – I make them, I eat them 🙂
