This is a perfect gelatin dessert for children’s parties. Rainbow Jello is an eye-catching, splash of colors and flavors that little people love.

So prepare the gelatin by adding boiling water to gelatin mix. Stir until gelatin crystals completely dissolve.

Do not add cold water, like the package instructions mention, instead, add about 2 tablespoons vanilla ice cream. Mix well, and pour about 3 teaspoons of the mix  in a serving cup. Refrigerate for about an hour. Repeat with a different color.

Easter is so quickly approaching, I can’t believe it, it seems like we’ve just celebrated Christmas. Well, here is a perfect idea for Easter. Save some egg shells, rinse and let air dry. (You see some egg shells are missing? Yeah, little hands kept wondering what’s inside, and busted a few of them accidentally 🙂

Prepare the gelatin, using instructions above, pour 2-3 teaspoons inside the egg shell (I used a little dropper), let set in refrigerator for about 30-60 minutes, and repeat with the different colors until full. Refrigerate for couple of hours before you peal the “egg”. This is the beauty you’ll get:

  • 3-4 packs of flavored gelatin mix
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 8 tablespoons vanilla ice cream
  • cups or empty egg shells, rinsed, and air dried

Directions:
