QUICK AND EASY FRENCH TOAST RECIPE

French Toast

French Toast, also known as eggy bread is perfect for Sunday brunch, quick ‘n easy enough for early morning breakfast.

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 10 slices white or wheat bread
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

In a wide shallow bowl beat eggs. Stir in milk and vanilla extract.

Spray the skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Soak the bread slices in egg mixture one at a time.

Cook in a skillet over medium heat on both sides until golden brown.

Serve French Toasts with maple syrup and/or fruits. May also be topped with powdered sugar.
